Warm welcome from Sherri Shelton, the owner and artisan of "Cobalt Blue Cabin". In 2019 I painted my first furniture piece for our daughter-in-law; the paint bug bit and voila, here we are today!

My husband and I live in Henderson, KY in my family home, a log cabin, located in the county on 5 acres. Our four adult children and their families along with our two grandsons keep our rustic home aglow with love and warmth. My favorite color is Cobalt Blue. Also, I've worked nearly 30 years in healthcare and order CBC blood tests quite often hence the name of my painting business.

I enjoy saving then beautifying quality furniture pieces using quality paint products and finishes. Although I prefer to not paint over a perfect piece of furniture, I will try to give a misfit piece a new look for a longer life.
